These terms & conditions apply to the sale of all tickets and attendance at any event organised by CURLYTREATS. By purchasing a ticket or attending a CURLYTREATS event, you ("ticket holder", "attendee", "you", "your") agree to comply fully with these terms, which constitute a legally binding agreement under the laws of England and Wales.
1. Introduction and scope
1.1 These terms & conditions govern ticket purchases and participation in all CURLYTREATS events, including but not limited to:
- CURLYTREATS festivals
- CURLYTREATS exhibitions and trade shows
- CURLYTREATS pop-up markets
- CURLYTREATS conferences, seminars, and workshops
- CURLYTREATS networking and community events
- Any other event or activation produced by CURLYTREATS.
1.2 By purchasing a ticket or attending any CURLYTREATS event, you agree to be bound by these terms & conditions as well as any additional rules and policies communicated before or during the event.
2. Ticket purchase, ownership, and transferability
2.1 Tickets may only be purchased through CURLYTREATS or its authorised ticketing agents.
2.2 All tickets issued remain the property of CURLYTREATS until full payment is received.
2.3 Tickets are non-transferable unless CURLYTREATS provides prior written authorisation. Unauthorised resale, distribution, or duplication will invalidate the ticket and may result in refused entry.
2.4 Attendees are responsible for providing accurate personal information when purchasing tickets. CURLYTREATS accepts no responsibility for issues arising due to incorrect information provided by the ticket purchaser.
3. Admission terms
3.1 A valid ticket grants the holder access to the designated CURLYTREATS event on the specified date(s) only.
3.2 Admission is subject to venue capacity, security protocols, and any entry requirements stated on the ticket or promotional materials.
3.3 CURLYTREATS reserves the right to conduct bag searches, ID checks, and other security measures on all attendees.
3.4 Entry may be refused or attendees removed without refund if there is a breach of these terms or if behaviour is deemed unsafe or disruptive.
4. Cancellation, rescheduling & refund policy
4.1 Non-refundable ticket sales: All tickets are sold on a strictly non-refundable and non-exchangeable basis.
4.2 Rescheduled events: If a CURLYTREATS event is rescheduled, tickets remain valid for the new date. No refunds will be issued if you cannot attend the new date.
4.3 Event cancellation with no rescheduling: A refund will only be provided for the face value of the ticket. Booking fees and incidental costs are non-refundable.
4.4 Force majeure: CURLYTREATS will not be liable for cancellations due to events outside of our control (e.g., acts of God, pandemics, or government restrictions).
5. Changes to event schedule and talent
5.1 CURLYTREATS reserves the right to alter event programmes, schedules, speakers, performers, or other talent at its discretion and without prior notice where necessary.
5.2 Such changes do not entitle ticket holders to a refund or other compensation unless otherwise stated in writing by CURLYTREATS.
6. Attendee code of conduct
6.1 All attendees must:
- Show respect to staff, attendees, and vendors.
- Follow all instructions from CURLYTREATS staff and venue security.
- Report any unsafe behaviour or incidents to staff immediately.
6.2 Unacceptable behaviour includes:
- Violence, threats, or abusive conduct
- Harassment or discrimination
- Vandalism or theft
- Unlawful or disruptive actions
Anyone breaching this code may be removed from the event without refund.
7. Prohibited items
7.1 The following are prohibited at CURLYTREATS events:
- Firearms, knives, blades, or sharp objects
- Explosives, fireworks, flammable substances
- Illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia
- Outside alcohol or glass containers
- Drones or remote-controlled devices
- Any hazardous item identified by staff or security
7.2 Prohibited items may be confiscated, and admission refused without refund.
8. Photography, filming & media usage
8.1 By attending, you consent to being filmed or photographed for CURLYTREATS promotional use.
8.2 You waive any rights to royalties or compensation for use of your image or voice.
8.3 Personal photography is allowed unless otherwise specified. Professional filming requires prior consent.
9. Health & safety disclaimer
All activities and demonstrations are voluntary. Please consult your healthcare provider if you have health concerns before participating.
10. Accessibility
10.1 CURLYTREATS strives to create inclusive events. Notify us of accessibility needs in advance at [email protected].
10.2 We will try to accommodate reasonable requests subject to venue limitations.
11. Data protection & GDPR compliance
11.1 CURLYTREATS processes personal data in line with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
11.2 Data collected includes:
- Name and contact details
- Ticket transaction details
- Accessibility or health disclosures (if applicable)
11.3 Data is used for event management, health & safety, and operational purposes. We do not sell personal data.

12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify CURLYTREATS against all claims, liabilities, and expenses arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of the event premises.
13. Limitation of liability
CURLYTREATS is not liable for personal injury, illness, or property damage unless due to proven negligence.
14. Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining terms will continue in full effect.
15. Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes related to these terms.
