CURLYTREATS strives to provide an inclusive, safe, family-friendly environment for its events where visitors, participants, exhibitors and the event team can enjoy shared experiences. Nia Phoenix Ltd (NP) organises CURLYTREATS.
Definitions and Interpretation
• ‘We’, ‘Our’, ‘Ours’, ‘Us’ and ‘the Organisers’ refers to Nia Phoenix Ltd
• ‘You’, ‘Yours’ refers to you or anybody who in our reasonable opinion, is acting with your authority or permission.
• ‘The Event’, ‘event’ refers to the CURLYTREATS event.
• ‘Venue’, ‘venue’ means any facilities or location where the event is being held.
• ‘Ticket’, ‘ticket’ refers to electronic evidence of the right to attend the event.
• ‘Visitors’ applies to ticket holders attending the event.
By ordering tickets to the event, you confirm that you have read and accepted the Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
To register a ticket to attend the event, you must be over 18 years old.
Your possession of a ticket constitutes that you have read, understood and agree to be legally bound by the following:
You also consent to receive your ticket by email and receive regular updates about the event.
If you do not agree or cannot comply with any of these conditions, you must not register tickets to attend the event.
All prices for tickets offered for sale from us are inclusive of VAT.
Ticket Payment and Placing Orders
Please ensure that you read the entire ticket description details and are happy with your ticket selection before completing your order, as the Organisers cannot rectify issues arising from your mistake.
It is your responsibility to check your ticket; the Organisers shall not be responsible for any issues you make when booking.
These terms and conditions start once the Organisers confirms your ticket order. It ends immediately after completion of the event for which you have registered a ticket.
It is your responsibility to confirm via your Eventbrite account whether or not your order is complete:
• If you do not receive an order confirmation after submitting payment information, contact Eventbrite
• If you experience an error message or service interruption after submitting payment information, please contact Eventbrite.
Only you may be aware of any problems that may occur during the purchase process.
We will not be responsible for any costs or losses you incur if you assume that an order was or was not placed because you failed to receive an order confirmation.
You can not resell your tickets. Any resale (or attempted resale) of a ticket is in breach of the law and is grounds for seizure or cancellation of that ticket without refund or other compensation.
Misuse of Ticket
No tickets are allowed for advertising, promotions, contests, sweepstakes (or other similar commercial gains).
Tickets cannot be combined with any hospitality, travel or accommodation service, or other merchandise, product, or service to create a package for sale or additional distribution.
No Partnership or Agency
Nothing in these Tickets Terms and Conditions and no action taken by You or Us under these Terms and Conditions shall create, or be deemed to create, a partnership, joint venture or establish a relationship of principal and agent or any other relationship between You and Us beyond the relationship created under these Terms and Conditions.
Do not buy tickets from unlawful street traders/touts. There is no guarantee of ticket validity for entry unless purchased directly from CURLYTREATS and an official Ticket Partner.
CURLYTREATS and its Organisers own all intellectual property rights; any breaches will be prohibited. Any professional still photos, moving images, videos, sound recording taken and/or published and/or uploaded and/or distribution without priority written consent from CURLYTREATS will contribute a violation of the intellectual property rights. All breaches will be prohibited.
The advertised start and end times of the Event are subject to change.
The Organisers reserve the right to change the content, participants, timing and venue of the event at any time – without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
Seats in seated areas will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and are not guaranteed.
Children aged 16 and under will not be able to attend without a registered ticket holder over the age of 16.
Except for guide dogs, no animals will be allowed into the event.
Visitors attending the event must not participate in any canvassing, leafleting, demonstrations, objectionable behaviour, wear offensive apparel, or be involved in any activity that may disrupt the event.
Official merchandise and services are on sale only at exhibitor stands at the event, do not buy from unofficial exhibitors inside or outside the venue.
Non-exhibiting companies attending the event are requested not to solicit for business in and outside the venue.
Photography and Recording
Official event photographers and videographers will be taking photographs and recording and streaming videos at the event.
Anyone attending the event consents to such photography and filming without compensation and confirms that the Organisers shall be entitled to use such photos and videos, which may include photographs and videos of visitors, for marketing CURLYTREATS in the future, for exploitation in any media, without liability or payment.
No visitor to CURLYTREATS may take photographs or film videos or make any form of recording on any media for commercial or business purposes at CURLYTREATS under any circumstances without the prior written permission of the Organisers.
Reservation of Rights
The Organisers reserve the right to exclude or remove anyone from CURLYTREATS and the venue who:
• do not comply with this policy;
• they reasonably consider likely to break these rules;
• is prohibited from attending under any applicable sanctions, laws or regulations, or otherwise at the Organisers’ discretion.
Food and Drinks
Organisers have no control over the food products distributed at our events. We cannot be held responsible for any allergic reactions to food sampled or purchased at one of our events.
Security at our Events
The safety and security of our staff, exhibitors and visitors is our priority.
Everyone attending our events should be aware that the following may be in place:
• Customer Service staff may approach you to assist you outside, at entry or inside the event.
• Staff are required to wear ID badges provided
• Body search
• Bag checks
• Walkthrough or handheld scanners
• CCTV in operation at our events is monitored and recorded
• Uniformed and covert Security Guards
• Uniformed and undercover Police
• Canine Security and Detection
Everyone attending our Events must:
• Understand the right to refuse admission is reserved.
• Act responsibly. Visitors with behaviour deemed offensive by the Organiser, Venue or both will need to leave the premises without a refund.
• Keep personal property with you at all times and do not leave any items unattended
• Use the bins and recycling points provided on and off-site to dispose of rubbish.
• Report anything that looks unusual, suspicious or just out of place to a member of the event team
• Remain patient and courteous with the event team undertaking security checks.
• Not have illegal drugs or substances. If found, entry is refused.
• Smoking is not allowed in the venue; this includes electronic cigarettes.
• Glass bottles of any kind are not allowed – there are no exceptions.
• Give the event team any item considered a weapon, which may cause danger, offence or disruption to any other person.
• Visitors who paid and entered the conference or a masterclass then decided to leave of their own accord – will not be given refunds.
• Follow the instructions of the event team at all times.
The Organisers reserve the right to refuse admission to the venue or remove anyone from the site for public safety reasons.

Generally, every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event sessions but admission cannot always be guaranteed to scheduled sessions.
Views and Opinions
The views and opinions expressed by any talent, participant, speaker, exhibitor, sponsor, an attendee at the event are their own. The Organisers shall not be responsible for any advice given or view expressed at the Event or in any material provided to you.
Cancelled and Rescheduled Events
If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, the Organisers will get in touch with you to let you know once the relevant information is given (if you booked online, the Organisers would use your email address).
However, the Organisers can not guarantee that you will be informed of such cancellation, postponement, rescheduling or alteration before the event date. It is your responsibility to ascertain whether an event is cancelled in full, postponed, rescheduled or altered and the date and time of any rescheduled event.
The Organisers shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God (other than one arising from or related to directly or indirectly from volcanic ash), strikes, lockouts, healthy and safety issues, accidents, war, fire, breakdown of plant or machinery, and Nia Phoenix Ltd trading as CURLYTREATS shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of its obligations.
Damages and losses
The Organisers accepts no liability for personal or property damages, losses (including surrendered items) or injuries sustained at this Event – other than caused as a result of Our negligence.
The Organisers may prosecute you if you cause damage to the Venue or cause harm to any other person at the Event, Venue or both.
CURLYTREATS reserves the right from time to time to make changes to these Tickets Terms and Conditions. Any changes will be communicated via email by [email protected] It is Your responsibility to check and stay informed of any changes regularly.
Queries, Complaints and Dispute Resolution
If the Organisers needs to contact you, We will use the contact details you provided at the time of your ticket registration. It is your responsibility to inform us immediately of any changes to your contact details, whether before or after ticket confirmation.
In particular, please ensure that you provide us with a valid email address as this is Our preferred method of contacting you. You should also be aware that your email mailbox settings may treat Our emails as junk, so remember to check your junk, spam or both folders.
If you have any queries or complaints regarding your purchase, please contact us at [email protected] quoting any order reference numbers.
Your query or complaint shall be acknowledged by us as soon as possible and in any event, within ten business days of receipt.
We may need to contact an Event Partner for more information before responding to your query or complaint.
If any dispute arises, We shall use Our reasonable endeavours to consult or negotiate in good faith and attempt to reach a just and equitable settlement satisfactory to you, us and any relevant Event Partner. Please note, some complaints can take as much as 28 days to resolve.
Nothing in this Tickets Terms and Conditions affects or restricts your statutory rights, your right to make a complaint to Trading Standards or another appropriate regulatory authority, or your right to pursue court proceedings or other forms of dispute resolution.
If We delay or fail to enforce any of these Tickets Terms and Conditions, it shall not mean that We have waived Our right to do so.
We shall be entitled to assign any of Our rights and obligations under these Tickets Terms and Conditions provided that your rights are not adversely affected.
If a Court finds that any of these Tickets Terms and Conditions for any reason cannot be enforced, this shall not prevent the other provisions from continuing to apply.
If any provision of these Tickets Terms and Conditions is or becomes illegal, invalid or unenforceable under the law of any applicable jurisdiction, this shall not affect or impair the legality, validity or enforceability in that jurisdiction of any other provision of these Tickets Terms and Conditions.
The Event Partner(s) and its affiliates, successors or assigns may rely on any rights set out in these Terms and Conditions under the provisions of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 (the ‘Act’). Except as provided above, any person who is not a party to these Tickets Terms and Conditions shall have no rights under the Act to rely on any of these Tickets Terms and Conditions. The Act can give rights under some contracts to third parties who are not parties to those contracts, but in this case on We, the Event Partner(s) (and/or its affiliates, successors or assigns) and you (or your assignees permitted as a result of this) have rights and obligations under this contract.
These Tickets Terms and Conditions, and the terms and conditions of the Venue and any specially agreed terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties in connection to, its subject matter and supersede any previous terms and conditions, agreement or arrangement between the parties. Each of the parties agrees that it has not entered into these Tickets Terms and Conditions in reliance on, and shall have no remedy in respect of, any statement, representation, covenant, warranty, undertaking or indemnity (whether negligently or innocently made) by any person (whether party to these Tickets Terms and Conditions or not) other than as expressly communicated by Us to You before You have completed your purchase or set out in these Tickets Terms and Conditions. Nothing in this clause shall operate to limit or exclude any liability for fraud.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Tickets Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in all respects under English law, and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

COVID-19 Terms and Conditions
Terms and conditions apply to all tickets purchased for events during the period when rules and guidance from the UK Government regarding the COVID19 Pandemic are in force.
If an event does not occur due to the Government COVID-19 restrictions, your ticket will be refunded.
Personal arrangements including travel, accommodation or hospitality relating to the event for which you have booked tickets are at your own risk. Our liability to ticket holders in connection with the event shall be limited to the ticket price paid, including the per ticket booking fee.
Before attending an event, ticket holders must familiarise themselves with and comply with the latest rules and guidance issued by the UK government regarding COVID19.
By attending an event at a venue, all ticket holders are acknowledging their consent to, and agree to abide by, the safety precautions that the venue has adopted, which may include (but not be limited to) wearing of face coverings and non-invasive temperature checks.
Safety measures for each event and venue are posted on our website; ticket holder requirements will be outlined in the pre-visit email notifications. Failure to comply with any such precautions could result in ticket holders being asked to leave the venue. We further reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who refuses to comply with our safety protocols.
The safety measures that are being and have been introduced at venues are intended to minimise the risk of contracting COVID-19, but this risk cannot be eradicated entirely. By purchasing a ticket for an event, you are acknowledging that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present and that you and those in your party voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold Nia Phoenix, CURLYTREATS, the venue, our event partners or any of their affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors or volunteers liable for any illness or injury. Anyone attending an event acknowledges that they do so at their own risk.
In line with Government guidance, we ask that ticket holders do not attend if they or someone in their party is required to self-isolate or experience any COVID-19 symptoms. To ensure all event participants can book with confidence, we have instituted a temporary COVID19 exchange policy.
In these circumstances, event tickets will permit you to (i) exchange your tickets for another event of the same value at a later date (within 12 months from the purchase date).
If you cannot attend an event, you must inform us at least 24 hours before the event. No exchange fee will apply.
All ticket holders may be required to have their temperature checked before entering the venue. Entry to the venue will not be permitted if you display a temperature of 38 degrees or higher.
Suppose a ticket holder or member of the party is denied entry due to a failed temperature check. In that case, the lead booker will be issued with a credit voucher which can be used to re-book to an alternative date for their visit (subject to availability).
