CURLYTREATS Fest Postponed Until April 2021

Dear friends of CURLYTREATS

Following the increasing number of cases of people with COVID-19, this week, the government announced further restrictions to reduce the spread of the coronavirus in England, including extending the ban on mass gatherings.

As a result of the government’s decision, CURLYTREATS has now been forced to further postpone until 17th April 2021.

CURLYTREATS tickets are valid for the rescheduled date. Rest assured we will continue working behind the scenes to be ready to deliver a safe yet fantastic event in 2021, we will also continue to closely monitor the government announcements relating to the coronavirus and all mass-gatherings.

After spending the past year preparing for the event, the whole CURLYTREATS team are upset and disappointed that we cannot connect in-person – and we know that many of you share in our disappointment. Unfortunately, our hands have been tied, but we do understand the importance of keeping everyone safe.

We are well aware that CURLYTREATS is a vital event in the natural hair community. We also understand the importance of continuing the fight against hair discrimination and creating a safe space where we can be empowered to celebrate our natural beauty together. So many of you have been reminding us that great things happen when the community comes together and connects at CURLYTREATS Festival.

In addition to planning future live events, CURLYTREATS will be delivering online talks relevant to our community, starting in October 2020. More information will be available soon.

We would like to thank all our exhibitors, visitors, speakers, partners and suppliers for your continued support, flexibility and patience during challenging times.

In the meantime, stay safe, stay well and look after each other.
