CURLYTREATS Fest 2020 – Curly Hair, Do Care!

Join us as we celebrate curly-haired beauties at the Spring/Summer edition of CURLYTREATS, April 25 at Novotel London West.

For decades, perhaps centuries, women (and men) have declared WAR on curls – going to extraordinary measures to tame their hair and “straighten things out.” But – WHY? At CURLYTREATS, we believe that, if you’re lucky enough to be born with coily, curly, afro hair, celebrate it!

“Together, we celebrate. Together, we empower.” – Vinna Best, Founder

As the UK’s BIGGEST natural hair army and the leading nationwide event of its kind, CURLYTREATS is on a mission to change society’s perception of natural hair, uplifting and encouraging women, men and children nationwide to embrace their kinks with confidence. In doing so, we hope to birth a new generation of curl-lovers who share their experiences with others – loud and proud – educating and encouraging one another to live with confidence.

CURLYTREATS is THE premier destination for the curly-haired community, and we’re BACK by popular demand! This April, we’ll be hitting NOVOTEL, West London, bringing decades of hair education and insights to you. In fact, we’ve been doing so since 2013, and this year, we’ll be sharing a hair-load of information on:

  • Natural hair care
  • Hair health
  • Styling and products
  • Loving your curls

CURLYTREATS helps women AND men AND children learn to love the curls that their mamas and papas gave them, and we’re here to support you at every stage of the “curly hair journey.” Whether your tresses are curly, coily, or blazed in afro glory, CURLYTREATS is for EVERYONE, children included, whether you:

  • Need encouragement and inspiration on your healthy hair journey
  • Want hands-on training from PRO stylists on growing healthy natural hair
  • Are transitioning from permed to natural for the first time
  • Are ready to ditch chemicals and toxins in relaxers

So, what’s going down at the event?

By getting your tickets now, you’ll be in for a delicious curly-haired treat. Feast your curls on an epic list of activities! There will be plenty to do all day long, with an action-packed itinerary – because who doesn’t need some fresh natural hair inspiration?

This year is set to be our BUSIEST and MOST EXCITING yet, and we’re thrilled to invite you to spend time with us at a range of sessions and fascinating workshops this #CURLYTREATS2020! Join us for:

  • The exhibition (free access)
  • Conference talks
  • Drop-in sessions
  • The chance to meet expert speakers behind the scenes

One of the things we’re most excited to share is information on the ingredients you show to look for in your hair products. Some of these can do more harm than good, innocently blended in to lull you into a false sense of security…and beauty. Our speakers are ready to share their knowledge with YOU!

HERE’S A SMALL TASTE OF WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AT #CURLYTREATS2020:

Sound Healing Meditation: Erasing traumatic, negative “hair” words through soul-healing meditation. Like – is your hair unruly, or does it RULE? Is your hair frizzy, or is it ELECTRIC?

Vision Board: Discover positive affirmations and manifest your curly hair goals.

Self-Love Poetry Workshop: Feed your sense of self-esteem and change the way you view and treat, your curls.

Mindful Colouring Therapy: Celebrate the unadulterated beauty of your natural hair, no filter needed, by immersing yourself in the vibrant colours and patterns of braids, curved flowers, and runway stems.

You’ll also be treated to a LONG list of community talks, where you can drop in and learn how to:

  • Naturally, protect your hair and scalp from the sun
  • Master the art of Ayurvedic hair
  • Use CBD to benefit your hair and scalp
  • SAFELY colour your curls for the summertime
  • Grease…or not to grease?
  • Does rice water benefit your hair?

Celebrating Curls, Coils, and Afro Hair and Locks Since 2013!

Avoid disappointment by booking your tickets today for #CURLYTREATS2020 – before space fills up. This is NOT an event you want to miss out on!
