Hello friends and family,

We've missed you and hope you are well! Do not fear; we're still here! As a small team, we are busy working hard behind the scenes planning the safest and most welcoming return of CURLYTREATS Festival.

Festivals must like ours do not survive without your support, so thank you for being patient in the anticipation that we can all join together again very soon.

In this unprecedented time, the health and safety of our team, exhibitors, visitors and fans is of paramount importance to us.

That’s why we’ve been working hard to implement some essential measures, that allows you to attend the event safely and securely.

CURLYTREATS will run according to official government and local authority guidelines as well as the venue regulations.

The Association of Event Organisers, Association of Event Venues, Events Supplier and Services Association and its various stakeholders have developed the industry-wide All Secure standards. It raises the bar on safe, hygienic, productive and high-quality organised event experiences - approved by the UK government.

CURLYTREATS All Secure is how these standards are being adopted in our business:

Deep Clean1. Enhanced cleaning
A deep clean will be undertaken by the venue before, during and after the event to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

This includes continuous sanitisation throughout the course of an event, with a focus on high-touch areas such as door handles, public toilets and handrails.

Also, food and beverage retail services will be provided in line with the latest government guidance.

Personal hygiene2. Personal hygiene
Additional handwashing facilities and hand sanitising stations will be available throughout the event space.

Also, contactless payments will be encouraged, with an email receipt wherever possible.

3. Floorplan
Multiple entrances will enable management of social distancing and queues and a steady flow of visitors entering the event.

There will be wider aisles to facilitate social distancing and to enhance the visitor experience.

There will be clear signage and controlled visitor traffic to help everyone keep a safe distance.

Physical distance4. Physical contact
Requesting that everyone avoids physical contact, such as handshakes and embraces, promoting alternative ways to greet each other.

The exchange of printed materials, such as business cards and sales brochures, will also be discouraged, with digital alternatives recommended.

Social distance5. Physical/Social distancing
Social distancing will follow the latest government advice; we are currently working towards 2m social distancing.

A new crowd management protocol will be put in place to ensure all areas of the event space are safe, in line with the latest government guidance.

Managed through one or more control measures such as pre-show communications to all participants, advance ticket purchase, one-way traffic system around the event floors, staggered entry times, on-site signage and floor markings and on-site social distance ambassadors.

6. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Face Mask
Face coverings, in line with government guidance, this should be supplied by each participant.

Temperature Checks7. Screening
Our event will follow relevant health authority guidance on screening participants which may include checking the temperatures of everyone on entry, through thermal scanning or other screening processes.

Track and trace8. Trace and trace
Should it be necessary, contact details will be kept securely for 21 days to support contact tracing in line with the government and local authority guidance.

9. CommunicationCommunication

The event website, social media and emails will supply visitors and exhibitors with up-to-date information about guidelines in place at the event.

Exhibitor manuals will include specific details of what our exhibitors need to execute for the enhanced safety and hygiene measures.

Public address during the event to remind of physical distance and the importance of handwashing and sanitising hands.

Event signage will be displayed prominently regarding recommended guidelines, for example, social distancing and personal hygiene.

In the first instance, CURLYTREATS events will run according to official government and local authority guidance as well as any venue regulations. Also, we will follow CURLYTREATS All Secure as our priority commitments.

A massive thank you for your ongoing support of the CURLYTREATS vision that is "Together We Celebrate, Together We Empower", without you CURLYTREATS would not be possible.

We can't wait to see you soon!

In the meantime, Stay Safe.
